EXCELLENT, Pardon me for yelling but I agree 100%.
Also I would consider "a sisters bedding habits" to be "Dirty Linen"
(something not to be washed in public) and not Genealogy. Also just
consider if this was ever published or put on the net, or sent in a
Gedcom, think how "sister" would sue you for everything.
Also., same sex marriage is out there but if you really want to
record it in Legacy one would put it into Notes, or Events.I am not
belittling those who have this type of marriage but it does not
produce children. Legacy is about Genealogy and as such is similar
to a Pedigree, and Pedigrees do not have "same sex marriages". By the
way, Legacy does have just that, a Pedigree Report.
Also if you want to change your sex you would enter yourself as the
sex you were born with, and the sex change would be put into notes.
Since this person would never become both a mother and a father notes
or events would be perfect.
I have only entered de facto relationships when they have produced
children, or the couple have been in the relationship for a long
time, say over 10 years.
