Hello, I am fairly new to Legacy and genealogy software programs. For the first time, I have started to add source citation. I have several questions, but want to start with just one for now.
Under 'Details', there is a 'Detail Text' section. The explanation in 'Help' for this 'Detail Text' states: 'actual text found in master source'. I am not sure what this means. What I understand it to mean is that if the document is, for example, a baptism certificate, you enter the entire text of the baptism document under 'Detail Text'. Is that the correct interpretation of what to insert in this section? Thanks. Marie Z.
