Set up a two stage detailed search:

Individual/Birth Place/Contains/, NC
or
Individual/Death Place/Contains/, NC

Make sure you put in the comma and blank before the NC

Once the search has run, select print from the results list and set up what
options you want. Try various column sizes, portrait vs landscape, and font
sizes.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Special Report help needed

I am a new Legacy Deluxe 4.0 user. I imported my database from PAF 4.0. I
would like to create a report of all persons in my data who were born in NC
and all of those who died in NC. I have tried HELP and the MANUAL but have
not been able to figure a way to do a focus report showing this data.

I would like to print some basic information on each person who was born or
died in NC--such as NAME, BIRTH DATE, BIRTH PLACE, MARRIAGE DATE, DEATH
DATE. If this basic information will not fit across the page is there a way
to print the report in landscape mode? If it is not possible to print
landscape in Legacy could I export the report to Microsoft Word and edit it
there? How would I do this export?

I hope one of the experienced users will be able to help.

Margie
