I think you must be able to change the 'black box' somewhere Elizabeth - mine only have a light grey shadow - but I can't see where. In the Report Options you can set the shadow colour - maybe you need to turn this on?
I agree that you need to be able to size different pictures differently - I think there should be a size option to use a size set in Picture List in the report options. In Picture List you would have the option in each attached photo to use the "report default" or to use a defined size. In this way the same picture could be sized differently for different associations. I suspect there are some hidden complications here though. The report has one picture setting for individuals and events. Marriage pictures are left out. Source images in endnotes can be five inches wide right justified. There is a black box around individual pictures that doesn't look good with oval face pictures cropped from group pictures. The rectangles are different sizes even though husband and wife were saved as 240 pixels high Details added to a box below a picture would need to be planned for the most commonly printed size. If you wanted a group picture in Legacy, all report pictures would need to be four or five inches wide to read the text added below the photo image. -- Elizabeth ----- Original Message ----- From: "Robert Carneal" > But back on the subject, if the photo is of my GG-Uncle on a farm, I > will make a copy of the photo and use Photo Shop, or PSP, and write > the names and locations below the photo.
