Jim, I think you are referring to the wrong birth, death, burial address fields. the ones John (and Jennifer) are referring to are the birth, death, burial address fields found on the Individual Information screen at the ends of each birth, death, burial field. You access them by clicking on the plus sign (+) at the end of each field. A small menu then pops up with Birth Address, Birth Notes, Birth Pictures. You select "Birth Address".
These are different from the birth, death, burial "Event" address fields in the Event Edit screen. I just tried to do a search for these like John did. I can find no way to do a search to find them, other than going to "Search and Replace". The Help file says to use Ctrl-F to search for embedded text for the Birth Notes, but that does not work for the Birth Notes entered from the + sign either. I know this is probably as clear as mud, but if you go the Family View and click on an individual to bring up the Individual Information screen, you will see what I am taking about.
