What I'm trying to get across is that while you cannot search for the birth, christening, death & burial addresses, you can go to Master Lists, Address Lists, Events and find all of them. So if I'm looking to find out who was buried in the same cemetery as Uncle Jack (and I have added a cemetery address for them), I can go to the location shown above, find the cemetery and click on Show List to see who is buried there. We do need the ability to search these addresses in the regular search capabilities but it hasn't been added yet. I'm just trying to give a work around.

You access them by clicking on the plus | sign (+) at the end of each field. A small menu then pops up with Birth | Address, Birth Notes, Birth Pictures. You select "Birth Address". | | These are different from the birth, death, burial "Event" address fields in | the Event Edit screen. | | I just tried to do a search for these like John did. I can find no way to | do a search to find them, other than going to "Search and Replace". The | Help file says to use Ctrl-F to search for embedded text for the Birth | Notes, but that does not work for the Birth Notes entered from the + sign | either. | | I know this is probably as clear as mud, but if you go the Family View and | click on an individual to bring up the Individual Information screen, you | will see what I am taking about. | | Louise | | | ----- Original Message ----- | From: "Jim Winfrey" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> | To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> | Sent: Wednesday, March 17, 2004 11:09 AM | Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Request for an additional search field. | | | > John, | > | > The instructions I gave, for my database, does include the addresses for | > birth, death, burial, etc. I think this is going to do everything you | want | > to do. | > | > Jim | > ----- Original Message ----- | > From: "John D.
