John asked: Am I correct in assuming that you have your granddaughter
linked to you as a foster or adopted parent, and to her birth parents as
birth (blood) parents? Does Legacy get confused by this?

Answers:
If I do a descendant report starting with my husband's father, it shows her
child status under my husband and I as (Legal Custody). Then when it prints
her mother (my husband's daughter) and her father's marriage, it shows her
as their child also - I have put no child status linked to her biological
parents.

If I do an individual report for her, it shows
Father: my husband (biological grandfather, legal guardian) this is the
wording I put as relationship to father
Mother: me (step grandmother, legal guardian) this
is the wording I put as relationship to mother
Father: her bio father (biological father)
this is the wording I put as relationship to father
Mother: her bio mother (biological mother) this
is the wording I put as relationship to mother

When you look at her record, the parent icon shows (2) - just as multiple
marriages would show on the spouse icon.
