Cathy, thanks for your ideas on this. I think this change took place when I
recently created some sample web pages in Legacy. I just went back in and
created the pages again. This time I double checked and the "list" style format
was selected. I changed it to "sentence" style and *poof* my database was also
back on track. Interesting.

I couldn't find any other place to select the formatting, but this worked and
I'm not going to worry about it. I've got bigger fish to fry in trying to get
my data to read well for web exposure (on a limited basis) and yet contain all
the appropriate events and sources.

Thanks again!
Gail Rich Nestor

Hi Gail,

I was thinking about this and could only come up with two unlikely reasons
until I experimented.

I've discovered the Report choice effects what is shown on the Edit Event
Screen. You need to go to one of the book reports and re choose Sentences
on the Format Tab. See Event Narrative Format button.

The other ways just in case:

1) you have somehow reverted to Standard version of Legacy as I think the
sentences are a Deluxe feature.
2) you have imported a file and inadvertently chosen the wrong option for
event sentences that were different and overwritten your event sentences
with a list style.

Cheers,
Cathy
