Thanks Dennis, At least I have the individual highlighting back but I really think that in the past - on the Family View - if there was a source for the birth then the word Born was also highlighted. I was in there messing around with the background and relationship colors and really messed it up.
Support - if this color option is not available now it would certainly save steps to have it. Thanks to all to answered my question.
