Connie,

There's been a lot of discussion in the past about pictures and Legacy. On
our website at http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Tips.asp is an extensive
tutorial on "Pictures, Sound and Video: Multimedia Files" which you might
find useful. The section on Image Format Basics is particularly useful.

Thanks for using Legacy.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Photo size

Hi Sherry,

Quiet yes... have been working on scanning family photos all day :-)

I have a question for you...

I have read Legacy users recommend several different photo sizes for various
Legacy reports... What is the best 'one size fits all' (pixel dimensions and
dpi) to save individual, group and also documents (for attachment to events)
photos which will view well in all reports produced from within Legacy ???
(my archive size are saved elsewhere)

Thanks in advance,
Connie

Ok, so we tell everyone not to send test messages! But the board has been
unusually quiet today so I'm just checking!

Hope all is well with the list and everyone's just busy doing genealogy

Thanks for using Legacy.
