Hi Judy,
Are you using the other fields in your sentence override?
Are you using the Notes section for events?

Your sentence override can still pick up the Notes.
I just tried writing a sentence override to find the limit and had a very, very long sentence before I got to the limit. As suspected it was 255 characters long. This is the same length as the event sentence definitions.

I put all explanatory detail in the notes.

Hope you find a satisfactory solution,
Cathy

Hi Cathy

You have solved my problem. Thanks. My override event sentence was too
long and therefore Legacy would not let me add the whole of the [Sources]
insert. By shortening the sentence I can get the source superscript
included. It is a pity that Legacy will not allow an unlimited sentence
length in the sentence override as it does in the normal Event sentence.

Judy
