Myrna, a suggestion to prevent this sort of problem

If I do not have a birthdate for an individual, I *always*
enter an estimated date e.g. est 1822

It helps so much with sorting sometimes, and looking at the
Index View and seeing someone who has no birthdate often
just doesn't trigger a memory for me.

Once all your individuals have "something" for a birthdate,
Legacy will automatically determine Living or Not.

| Cathy,
| I checked out the Advanced Set Living and it would be
great - IF - there
| was a date of birth. I ran it anyway and it did change
some of mine but
| there are still lots to correct that do not have a date of
birth or death.
| Surely someone whose parents were born and died in the 17
or 1800's would be
| dead by now.
| Hope I never have to do this again.
