Thank you to the replies re my messages not getting through. I now know why.
I was using HTML - didn't realise it as it looked like plain text. Anyway
the original message was as follows:

Sometimes I have comments to make on my birth years such as - "Year of birth
estimated from age given on census."

Sometime I have longer comments such as - "E------is listed on the 1841
census as aged 20 which gives him a birth year of 1821. However, the 1841
census rounds the birth year downwards. He is listed before his brother
M----- who is also aged 20 on that census, but was born about 1819
according to the 1861 census. Therefore I have estimated E------- to have
been born about 1818."

Up to now I've been putting these comments in Birth Notes, but now I'm
thinking they should be in the source details under the Comments tab. What
do others think? I don't suppose it's the end of the world if I get the
comments in the wrong place, but it would be nice to use Legacy as it's
meant to be used. Any thoughts and advice would be appreciated.

Regards Patricia
