Hi Keith,
I tried to call you but got your answering machine.
I did fix this and the current build of 22 October 2004 should import Tagged locations just fine.
Are you sure you are using the latest build? Do a Help, General Information and that screen will tell you the build date and version number. Should be 22 October 2004 version 5.0.170
If you do have the latest build can you explain the steps you are taking.
I do a View, Master Lists, Locations. I am using the sample database. I then click Options, Import. On the Import lists screen I check the "Location List" checkbox and the "Tagged Only" locations and then select the database. I have another family file that has a bunch of locations in it. I have about 4 locations tagged. Each of these 4 tagged locations just imported fine for me. I then unchecked the "Tagged Only" locations and imported again from that family file and all 1000+ locations were imported just fine.
Thanks

Subject: [LegacyUG] Latest Build Version 5.0.0.170 - Importing Locations Between Databases
Dear Support
I was hoping that this problem would have been fixed in the latest build, but alas it has not.
I cannot import locations from one database to another.
I do this so I can keep the format and coordinates correct between database when the locations are not available in the GEO Location Database.
This importing worked fine prior to the latest update. Could support please have a look at this, as I need this function if we are not permitted to update the GEO Database.
I have even created a new database and tried ti import locations with no result.
Thanks to all for the wonderful information and support.
Regards
Keith Skinner
