Worked mostly on one file in 2004 trying to find descendants who appeared in 1871-1901 census records. My county research contacts use different genealogy programs and I don't use Master Locations in Legacy. Wall charts (not available in Legacy) have been very handy for viewing multiples of events or conflicting dates/locations for the "main" individuals in a family.
John Madeup Example was born before birth records were available in his county of residence. He may have died young OR moved to the US or married or may have been called by his middle name in other sources and show up with some siblings. Elderly people with common names or second married surnames often show up living with relatives in a different area than their residence in a previous census.
