"looks and feels dated" is hardly specific enough for the 
programmers, or anyone else, to know what you really want. 
Be specific.  If it hasn't changed for a good while (not 
true, by the way - look at the additional views available, 
for example) that just *might* be because it was designed 
well in the first place.
