Thanks Cathy,
I have been using Legacy since Ver 3 and at that time imported a gedcom from Family Tree Maker. This is when the Occupations must have arrived in the Location List.

Hi Jane,
No you shouldn't have locations in the Location List. They probably arrived from importing a Gedcom. I seem to remember this happening. I'm not sure whether it still does as I don't tend to import Gedcoms into my database.

If you look in the Options in the Master Location list you'll find tools provided to help clean up non-locations. Also use the Show List and tag the people concerned as you'll probably want to move Occupation to an Occupation Event rather than to General Notes - though that would be a quick temporary fix.

Cheers,
Cathy

Hi to All,
When I go to View>Master Lists>Location and view the locations I have recorded for a persons Residence I also see Occupations listed in this view. Is this correct?
