Sorry I can't help about Tucson (I live in Melbourne Australia), and I'd agree that such a group can be a great help. Nothing like seeing what others are doing.
I'd like to echo the welcome that others have extended. Although there's a lot of esoteric discussion on this list Which you can wisely ignore (!), many of us are very happy to answer questions from people new to Legacy. There's no such thing as a dumb question here! We've even helped people just start the program, so feel free to ask. I'm sure with your experience of genealogy you'll pick things up quickly once you get over the initial hurdle.
Cheers, Rob

Subject: [LegacyUG] Tucson Legacy users ?
I am looking to link up with Legacy users in Tucson.
I bought the program, installed it, and now am totally confused. The manual
is too complicated and most of the discussion goes right over my head. It
would be great to meet other users and see how they are doing things.
If you are in Tucson and interested, please email me.
