Legacy support and the developers are aware of the pdf issues. I'm betting that if there is a "quick" fix we'll see it. I am still using Acrobat 4.04 and can read any pdf file through Acrobat 6 so I'm suspecting that changes in Acrobat 7 may be at the root of the problem. If SKS will send me a document created in Acrobat 7, I'll be happy to see if I can read it with 4.04.

Thanks,

Jim

Hmmm. I think the problem is more complex than just faulting EITHER-OR
Legacy/Adobe. The first problem is why does everyone feel the need to rush
out and download Adobe Reader 7.0 in the first place. I've read the new
features list on Adobe's web site and don't see that much benefit.
Obviously Adobe have changed some of the internal format of the PDF engine
or we wouldn't be having the problems. If you read the system requirements
for Adobe Reader 7.0, you'll see that some of the requirements leave out
many people with older systems.
