If 5 percent of my Living People have requested I keep (PUT) their name (with no details) on the Web, is there a way of achieving this ? I have tested by changing all Living to Private, then unprivitizing the 5 percent, but this did not give me the results I wanted because of missing links to children, spouses etc in the Private's branch.

Thanks in advance.
Robin

Subject: [LegacyUG] Privatizing Living people

In Create Web Pages, there are two choices on the "Other" Tab. Suppress
Details for Living People and Change Name to "Living". Having the first one
set and the other cleared then your pages just have the name of the person +
links to parents, children and spouses

Reports has similar options under Report Options in the "Format" tab.

Using that then you don't need to make the person "Private" (unless you have
other reasons to)

Now can anyone answer my question about privatizing living people but keeping their names showing? Please and thank you all! Lynette Skoglund Kleve stergtland, Sweden
