Rob, This is exactly what I've been struggling with... type first or name
first? I think I'm going to go with personal knowledge and name, then
indicate email, phone call, interview etc in the detail citation. That way
I have the person as a source only once. Thx, --Paula

I'd endorse the requirement to be able to sort the source list by different
fields.

By the way, I originally had "Personal Recollection - SMITH, F.J." as a
typical Master source, but I've recently changed them all to be like "
SMITH, F.J. - Personal Recollection" and SMITH, F.J. - Fax to Weiss, R"
etc. so that all the info FROM one person is grouped together. This way I
can track changes or inconsistencies. For official documents, I've retained
document type first, then name. If we had a sort facility, this approach
would not be necessary.

Anyone else do it this way?

Rob
