Leon,

That probably explains why I've never had problems with AniMap under WinXP -
I view just about everything on full screen because of my vision - and I use
800x600 for the resolution <g>

Glad to hear they're coming out with at 32-bit version!

Thanks for using Legacy.

Jim:

My version of Animap, 2.5.1, only works at full screen with Windows XP. If
you try to resize the window (which is really doesn't resize), then Animap
becomes unstable -- I have to exit the program and bring it back up. This
is definitely a very old program that grew up in the early years of 16 bit
Windows.

I was hoping to use Animap to look up a location and transfer Latitude &
Longitude into Legacy - but that does not work. Animap has it locations in
terms of DDMM. Legacy and most current programs have DDMMSS (Degrees,
Minutes, Seconds) for locations.

I called GoldBug, who developed Animap, and explained my problems with
Animap.
The tech person said they had problems with Windows XP and were about to
release a 32 bit version in the next 2-3 weeks. He offered to send me a
free update to the 32 bit version which was nice.

Personally, I would recommend anyone considering buying Animap wait until
they release their 32 bit version.
