John Bayle has it precisely, I think.

I also came to Legacy from Generations, and its predecessor Reunion, and really miss the integrated Tree drawing facility. It also amazes me that Millennium Corp haven't invested in a 'best of breed' charting program.

Treedraw is indeed very powerful, but requires a good deal of manual arrangement to get a good result, where FTM seems to draw trees both automatically and, more importantly, pretty well. The only snag I flagged up was the inability to format the Chart title into a full description of what was displayed, as you can do with others.

btw, John, if you liked Reunion, Generations (its later incarnation) is still available, I see. You don't need to get a Mac!
