Hi George,

You need to attach the Gedcom file to an email to your cousin.
Write your email and look for a paperclip icon - that's what it usually looks like. I don't know the email program you are using to give you more info. If you can't see it, check the email program help for how to attach a file.
Once clicked you'll get a dialogue box and you'll be able to navigate to where you've saved the Gedcom. Well done for taking note.

Often it's just a matter of knowing the right terminology.
Cathy

I have successfully exported a family file to a GEDCOM file. The file path is:
C:\legacy\data\Foss.ged

I would now like to export this file via email to a cousin who uses FamilyTreeMaker software.

My problem is I don't know what process to use to.send this gedcom file to my cousin. I've already consulted my Legacy manual, but I still don't understand the process.
Can someone enlighten me? Thank you, George
