Sorry my mistake.

Hi Dave,
Currently you can't source Death Notes separately from the whole Death Event. Same with Birth Notes etc - but Marriage Notes can be sourced separately.
It is a limitation of the program. Many would also like to be able to source date and location separately and others would go further to the parts of the date.
I would think if your Death Notes are a full transcription of the Death Certificate, the source is obvious. If not, you can do what some do in General Notes and put a short title to the source in brackets.
The Death Notes are a long way away in the Individual Report. It could be a good idea to repeat the Death Source numbers - but many of them would be irrelevant to the note itself.

My source notations for the "Death Notes" field do not show up.
I transcribe the Death Certificate in the Death Notes field and then add the
source citation of the Death certificate to it.
I then run an individual report. The source citations are included in the
Death date & location fields but not on the Notes field. And since these are
on different pages (separated by all the other Events) it looks like there's
no source information for the Notes.
Does this happen to others?
