Thank you Paula-that's what I needed to do.  I am still new to this program 
and just sooo many options I haven't figured them all out yet.  Everyone is 
so helpful and this program is great -

Jan,  You have to tell it to include AKA's:  Options>Include Alternate 
Names
--Paula

 on your family view you will find 3 little 1/2 people and if
   you hover your mouse over it it will say 'other names'
   if you put your 'other names' in here it will show up in the
   index.>
