In replying to my earlier posting, where I pointed out the nuisance
factor of having the geobase screen come up EVERY time one did
an IGI search, Jan replied:

Actually Jan I'm more radical than you I don't want it to come up AT ALL!
There is a Search button to initiate the search. There could be a check box
to "use geobase" or another button that says Search without Geobase, to
name two ways that under user control, the geobase would or would not
be used to refine the search. Or maybe this can now be done through the
"Options" button? I dunno. I didn't see anything there that looked like
what
I was looking for.
Oh, yeah, I tried it with some "bogus" searches. Unfortunately, I used
my regular family file. Now it's "cluttered up" with all these searches
that
are not particularly useful to me (cuz they were just tests). How do I get
rid of all these searches?
