Cliff,

I clicked on search options and found Automatic checked and nothing
checked for regions.

I then left Automatic checked and also checked North America. Go the
same Continental Europe results (no hits.).

I then unchecked Automatic and checked North America and got three
hits. Those hits matched the time frame of my ancestor.

I still think there is a bug in the process.

By the way, is there any advantage of signing onto the LDS database
during the search? It really slows down the process and results in a
redirection dialog box.
