Thanks. I know I will be into sources. I've got about 1800 names given me by a Great Aunt about 30 years ago. It's obvious I should check every single name.

By the way, Frank - if you're not using Sources I'd strongly recommend it.

I'm not sure of your experience level, or how you are using Legacy,
but when I started out I didn't use Sources either. However, when I
started to get conflicting information, I didn't know who to believe,
or even where a particular birth date (for example) came from. By
assigning a source to each entry, you (and others) can easily see
where that information came from and choose whether to believe it or
not. Once you get the hang of it, adding sources is very easy and
takes very little additional time. I've found it to be very valuable
in saving my time re-visitng information to resolve conflicts. There's
a good tutorial on the Legacy web site.

Hope this helps - my apologies if you already know all this!

Cheers,
Rob Weiss

Yes. They are on the Events column. They may be no problem but I think of
them as clutter. *I* didn't put them there. I guess if Legacy does this
automatically, that under some circumstancs - (I don't know Legacy well
enough - they keep adding facilities and I haven't kept up) - I would be
happy.

Thanks for the info.
