From emails I've kept and just checking I can add
DBM - index files
LDB - locked file - should only be present when the file is open
LIC - Legacy.lic holds the Deluxe info; Update.lic holds the date you last checked for an update; There is also an IGI.lic which I suspect relates to those using the LDS sections of the program and the new IGI search.
TRN - hold the words and phrases Legacy uses in various languages
CBH - also to do with the Clipboard - the list of saved sources CB0-9 - probably hold the Saved Source Clipboard data TCH and TC0-9 similar for the To Do clipboard
MRG - merge work file - only present when there is a merge in progress
Under ColorSchemes Folder you'll find lcs - which hold colour schemes but also rf1 - saved report options an0 - saved name tag options
