I was adding some pictures to individuals in family view, they were jpg
format and obtained by email.  With one  I went back to the Picture 
centre and  added the date and attached that picture as as well. The
Picture centre showed that there were two pictures with slightly
different names attached for the individual, so I deleted the older
one. I got a run time error, it was quick but may have been 3214,
legacy shut down instantly. It also shut down netscape and deleted the
picture from the desktop. I reloaded Netscape went to my email and  put
the picture back on the desktop. I reopened Legacy and attached the
picture with no problem. I checked the archives and saw the message
about  about deleting posted 11 May 2004 by Cathy.

There was no harm done and  the problem was quickly repaired but I just
don't think that Legacy is supposed to do that - is it? It certainly
did more than remove the link.  Has anyone experienced something
similar. I am running Legacy 5 with 4 Feb 2005 build.
