This is my first experience with 'create web pages' function. I've only
had Legacy Family Tree a few days. I have the most current version.

I went through all of the tabs and set things to what appear to be
reasonable settings. (basically display all information; display
'living' for living persons.) The person selected when I begin creating
web pages is then ancestor of most everyone, my 10th-great grandfather.

I've tried each of the web page styles (ancestor, descendant, pedigree,
etc).

I have approx 5000 persons in the database.

After generating the web pages...

1. the surname list is always empty of names.

2. The index of names is always empty of names.

Even though I tried to ask for all persons in the database, and I
generate a boatload of web pages, I don't seem able to look at all
persons in my browser; maybe that depends on type of pages generated.

- Is there any documentation describing the different type of web pages
it will generate (descendant vs pedigree, for example)? 'help' discusses
the tabs but not the web page types.

- How do I get it to generate something "useful," more or less like the
personal family trees posted at ancestry.com? Do I do one set of
pedigree type, starting with myself, another with descendants starting
with (who?), another of ancestors, and so on? I don't mind generating
lots of pages, but it looks like I need a bit more guidance.

Suggestions?
