Or you can use Alt 0160, which is a Window's standard blank space that
Legacy allows as a character. Remember to hold down the alt key and enter
the numerals on the numeric pad or it won't work.

Alastair, To eliminate the duplication of the word "Occupation", in family
view, click - either right or left, I just checked - on its first "label"
use in the line. This will open up the list of possible changes for the
label (this works for changing other labels, too, like "Death Cause".) You
cannot just leave the label space blank, but you can put in just a dot (aka
"period" or "full stop", depending on which version of English you are
using). This is much less conspicuous and annoying. This is for the screen
view only - no idea about reports, but then I usually rewrite them anyway.
This was not my idea, it came from William Voss a year or two ago.

On the Family View, I've changed 'Death Cause' to the Event - Occupation.

The problem now is that 'Occupation' is both printed on the label and
as the first
word in the field - a second time.

Can one get rid of the duplication? This one isn't in the Help that I can
see!

Warm regards :-)
