You could edit the master event definition and change Occupation to
something else. However, you need to be careful that those events
still read logically elsewhere, particularly in non-narrative style
reports. I'm not sure of other implicaitons.

If you want to try it, slect Virew > Master Lists > Event
Definition... to open the Master Event Definition List (you can get
here via the blue arrow on any event dialogue box, too). Select
Occupation and click Edit.  Change the Event Name from Occupation to
Occ or whatever you want.

I'm not sure that it's a good idea though.... I just use Event: And
Emigration: (in my case) and put up with it all not fitting in the
family view.
