Hi gang,

Just a reminder....

Our server tacks on three informational links to the bottom of each message
and those really need to be deleted when you do a reply as new ones are
going to be tacked on to your reply. I've seen some emails lately with 3-4
sets of links at the bottom!

Also, please remove any parts of the message you're responding to that
aren't pertinent to your response.

If you're bottom posting (most of you top post, but a few bottom post), and
the extra stuff isn't removed, it's too easy for readers to just think that
you didn't respond and delete your message. And, again, those receiving the
digest may never see your comments! It wouldn't even hurt to hit the
"Enter" key a couple of times to set your response off from the rest of the
message - I've seen a few messages where it's been hard to discern the reply
because it was so close to the original message!

Removing extra stuff is as simple as highlighting the unnecessary parts of
the message and hitting the "Delete" key to remove that.

Also, this list is about using Legacy. If someone mentions a surname you're
interested in, please contact them directly. Since their email address
doesn't show up in a reply (usually all you need to do is open the message
itself and the "From" line will read
"[EMAIL PROTECTED]; on behalf of; Legacy Support
[EMAIL PROTECTED]"

This is a great list and we really appreciate how helpful our users are!!

Thanks for using Legacy.
