Hi Sid
I was a Generations user to and found Legacy the only one to go for, however
you need to purchase a charting program which will read Legacy files. The
one that I have hung my hat on is TreeDraw Legacy available from the Legacy
site. This will give you a top to bottom tree. If I can be of any further
help come back.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Displaying Family Tree

I am a new boy on the block as I have just transferred my research over from
Generations to Legacy because of chart printing problems. However one thing
that I am having a difficulty with, probably because of inexperience with my
new system, is organising a chart which will show my family tree in a
'top-to-bottom' display rather than the 'left-to-right' which seems to be
the only option that I have seen. Can someone please tell me if a
top-to-bottom display is possible with Legacy and if so how do I go about
arranging it. Many thanks, the38gardener
