I have used Photoshop for a long time. I can tell you that it takes a lot of getting used to and is not terribly user-friendly. But, it does such miraculous things that it's well worth the effort. For repairing, renovating and manipulating old photos, nothing beats it in my opinion. Patricia
I don't know how long it takes to get used to Photoshop but I do admit it took me quite a while to get used to The GIMP and for me its main use is in photo manipulation.
