Interesting.  Outlook doesn't remove signatures with message quoting (of
course, some people would say that Outlook isn't a good email program <g>
but it and Outlook Express *are* the most used email programs)

Please note that your signature is still there.....

Can't the 'footers' that are tacked on to every message be prefixed with a
single line containing <dash><dash><space>? Then, the footers would be the
same as a "standard" signature and would be automatically removed by any
GOOD email client.
