Hi Carol,

I'm afraid that I have not found an easy way of doing this. I keep a paper record of the changes I make with the RIN and name. Then I use Legacy to make a complete new set of web pages and select the ones I need for the update.

It is necessary to bear in mind that some changes affect more than one person, eg. if a person with a previously unknown surname is found then the new surname affects their childrens' and grandchildrens' web pages as well. A new child affects the parents as well.

Good luck

Ron Ferguson

Subject: [LegacyUG] creating family history website

A few months or so ago I read that it is difficult to fix or add to your family trees on a web site, which made me decide to wait to do a web site. Everyone has done such a great job, I am wondering if any of you found this a problem.
Carol
