Marion, Please recreate the gedcom and see if a new one imports correctly. That's not a known problem with the Generations gedcoms (although there are others). If you're still having problems, please contact me off list at [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I now have a new computer with windowsXP so I thought it would be a good idea to change genealogy software. I have saved a gedcom, downloaded the free trial of Legacy and imported the gedcom. All straightforward (I thought!) however, the list of names is there, but it appears I now have to manually put each person into the right family!! Waht am I doing wrong? I have far too many names to to a manual entry. Thanks Marion Hornby (nee Jacques) Legacy User Group Etiquette guidelines can be found at: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp To find past messages, please go to our searchable archives at: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup%40mail.millenniacorp.com/ To unsubscribe please visit: http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/LegacyLists.asp
