Version 6 is NOT available in the marketplace. It was made available to
a limited number of people, period. If it were available in the
marketplace, anyone would be able to get it.
Companies often pre-release upcoming products, or versions of products,
to limited groups for any number of valid reasons. One reason that is
often used is to put out a new version to a limited group in order to
make sure it's fully stable before releasing it to a wider audience.
This happens all the time. If the phones don't ring off the hook the
company can feel some assurance that a wider release will also go more
smoothly.
