There is a wonderful facility in the 'Edit' menu - last one on the list - or
CTR T.
If your curser is on the earliest individual you've got the option of giving
all of
his/her descendants a tag number. I do it often - tag and export. Works
wonders.

Of course, if you've got 'side' lines attched to those descendants and you want
to
export those families too - go to the earliest individual and do the same thing
-
with the same tag number. Saves hours!!!

I am using Ver 5.

PS: You can also go to Descendants View - Options - customise columns and
make one column a Tag # column. That way it will show up (with the proverbial
X) in the Descendants View for each individual with that tag number. If you
find
one has been missed, click on 'Edit' and tag with your chosen number.
