Hi Matt,

I don't know about the best way but personally I keep photographs and pictures separate. I have two folders one for documents and the other for pictures. You may prefer to have separate folders for different types of documents eg births, marriages, deaths etc.

A couple of points you may like to keep in mind. In case you make web pages in the future it is best not to leave spaces in the file names and save them as jpg. Secondly remember that Legacy only memorises the path to the folder and does not store the document/photo itself; so moving an image or folder will mean that Legacy cannot find it.
