Rob, Standard version Legacy 6 or Deluxe with the new Publishing Center? Do you want the birth registration to print right-justified 5 inches wide (or smaller) in endnotes?
Or the same size as individual pictures in a Legacy 6 Deluxe report saved as PDF? Or six inches wide in a Legacy 6 Deluxe report saved as RTF and edited with a full-featured word processor? I didn't expect the Caption and Description labels to show in the Legacy report saved as RTF but captions & descriptions can be omitted. Spouse pictures are missing from the Descendant Narrative saved as RTF in build 6.0.0.70. [ Caption: Dr. Thomas Blow's house ] [ Description: Alt Birth picture ] Birth event images do not print in Legacy reports but you could use Alt Birth or add a custom event called Birth-reg. Then decide if you want an automatic caption or information about the certificate in the notes for the custom event. Christening, marriage, death and burial pictures also require custom events for pictures in Legacy reports. As a reader, I prefer to see a birth registration, census household or gravestone image large enough to read the original rather than a 1.25 inch picture beside an event note. Individual pictures usually look best as matching size rectangles without the picture frame. I'm hoping that someone will prepare instructions for planning Legacy books with pixel size and report option settings for large source images and group pictures. Sometimes children without official birth registrations change birth order depending on which source is used so I don't want to repeat hours of editing of a word processor book. -- Elizabeth ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rob > Hello! For something like a one page Birth Registration, do most people > just include a second (complete) scan of the document as the Detail > Picture, > or do people actually crop the document to illustrate each event detail > separately (i.e. Name, Birth Date, etc)?
