To add the carriage return, I just edited my standard event sentence for the "Census" event. That fixed the problem in one fell swoop. Of course, other events might have the problem too, but the vast majority of the blank lines were in the census events.

By the way, I discovered that it was 19,000 source details that I had. I only had about 6,000 events. Either way, I was not about to do this by hand. I'm so glad for those event sentence definitions and for the use of MS Access!

Yes. You have to edit every event type AND every sentence for said type
to insert the [CR] where you want it. So if you have 50 event types and
6 sentences for each of them, you will have to insert the [CR] in 300
places.
