Sherry, Thanks for your personal response. This may not be appropriate for the list but I'll start here and you can reply off list if you choose.
>From your following response I guess I need to ask HOW Legacy downloads. Most updates or downloads I'm used to working with download to an area I specify (and a more descriptive name of the file if I so choose) and from that area I then click the downloaded file to open it and perform the actual installation, upgrade/update. The way I got the new version of Legacy was from clicking the UPDATE area on the Legacy Home Tab then the "check for updates" option. If there is an update available then the "download and install now" area is clicked. The Legacy screen then goes away and the download starts. Hours later (in my situation anyway!) the Legacy screen reappears. In this scenario though nothing was downloaded to my specified download area, nor have I had a chance to direct the download to that specified area. Using your suggestion outlined below how would using someone else's computer with broadband access help. Wouldn't they have to have Legacy installed to get the update. I guess I'm missing the details in understanding how Legacy updates itself and how your suggestion would help me any. gc On Mon, 23 Jan 2006 22:36:43 -0800 "LegacySupport" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> writes: > Gary, > > Lately, updates have been slow in coming.
