I can't say that anything I read in that struck me as particularly exciting for non-LDS folks. The LDS collections are, of course, a fine resource...but this sounds like a "better" IGI - hardly worth getting excited about.
If that's really the direction that Legacy is heading, it is a disturbing development. I'm looking for a better tool for genealogy, something that supports good research, analysis, and reporting, not a build a massive tree with little sourcing program. Family Tree Maker already exists. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Renee Zamora Sent: Tuesday, February 07, 2006 00:30 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Article on Family Tree Like I said earlier - Legacy is working with the Church on this program. They are going to change how things operate and Legacy will sync with Family Tree. Maybe it won't happen all at once but things are changing. Don't get so down on the Legacy developers for not putting out patches quick enough for us because they are working on something really exciting for us in the future. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Patti Hobbs" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, February 06, 2006 9:52 PM Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Article on Family Tree > <<P.S.
