We definately are getting off topic, one comment though. Not all of the IGI
records are submitted by individuals, There are also extracted records which
ARE acurate. Check the source information and use the information
accordingly.

Even more distressing is to find 2nd great grandfather as child of someone
other than his parent. Or to have a person born 1805 in Ireland as born in
Wabasha Minnesota. If the submitter would have used common sense and done
their research they would have figured out that an Irish family would not
have been in Wabasha in 1805 and doing their research they would have
easily found his birth in County Down, Ireland.

I don't understand why the Legacy staff is working on the Mormon Church's
Family Tree program. Is Legacy part of the Mormon Church?
I do not plan to put my names on the Internet because I do not want my
ancestors to be baptized as Mormon's, something that had can happen even
if
I don't request it.

It certainly will affect all of us --- if it consumes programming
resources that could be used fixing known BUGS!
