After your email, I received some info on a woman who I need to add to
my tree. She told me her birth name, but said it wasn't her maiden
name, because she had been adopted. How would you fit that scenario
into your outline?

p.s. Just as an FYI - I always list a woman by her given name and
birth surname, and use the AKAs for each individual change of name she
went through. You don't see all names together at once, in my
iterations (unless you pull up the AKA list).
