I agree that Legacy search could be improved a lot. You can't search
on Source Detail Text, for example.
However you can do a basic search on Research Notes.
Tools > Find
Look for whom? Individual
Where to look? Notes-Research
How to look? Contains
What a look for - enter relevant word or phrase
